June 18, 2005 Update by Me(Tami): I
finally got my chance to drive out to see Dexter today. It's about 1
hour from my home and since I work full time and have had many medical
issues going on I haven't had the chance to see him since I first brought
him in for help. The last time I saw him his wound was very large,
infected and he still had some dead tissue. His flesh was exposed too.
Well today when I saw him I was in awe. He looks like he now has a
small abrasion instead of this huge open wound. I was amazed and so
thrilled. He, I think was happy to see me too. I talked to him
for some time and told him he would come home soon. Hopefully, I'll
get an enclosure built to suit his and the other ferals needs and they will
live long happy lives together in a safe environment. So....because of
you all and Dr. Burton and Tina he is doing tremendously well and looking so
dapper!!!!! |
